D11B Founder Bags Honorable Mention at 1st ASEANnale

The experimental film, “Diwa” by Founder and Chief Operations Officer Ma. Daniella Borrero was named honorable mention in the first ASEANnale Film and Multimedia Competition. The theme of three-day summit was “Capturing the spirit of ASEAN in the Digital Times".

According to Daniella, " I made this film to celebrate the resilience of the people who partake in the diaspora. The road may sometimes be rough, but their dedication and strength provided them with the enlightenment and growth that laid down a fertile foundation of a stronger self, as well as a stronger nation."

The awarding ceremony was held on March 2, 2018 at the University of the Philippines Asian Center in Diliman.
